At Norfolk Clinic we specialise in providing an extensive range of comprehensive psychological assessments and in-depth reports. All our assessments and reports are carried out and written by a highly skilled and experienced counselling psychologist who will use a combination of techniques, professional and scientific knowledge to assess the many aspects of an individuals psychological wellbeing and how they function. The information gathered during the assessment will be collated and written in a professional report which will include a diagnosis (where one is clear) treatment recommendations and signposting for further help and support if required. If you decide you wish to continue treatment with us at Norfolk Clinic after the assessment a treatment plan will be formulated and included in the report. Our psychological assessments help provide both individuals and professionals with an invaluable insight and understanding of the individual as a whole. How can a psychological assessment help me and/or a client, what assessments do you offer?

We work with and assess individuals, from children to adults and we also work with other services and professionals to help their clients get the right support this includes, Mental Health Professionals, Social Workers, Solicitors, Educators, Businesses and HR Professionals. We have a comprehensive range of assessments that we can offer which can help assess individuals with difficulites including:

- Assessing Mental Health Problems including Anxiety, Depression, PTSD , eating disorders etc.

- Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties

What should I expect from an initial consultation session and assessment?

An initial consultation session lasts 90 minutes. At the beginning of the session we will get you to fill out some forms that will take no longer than 15 minutes to fill out. This is to help us gather information about your history and discuss any worries or concerns you may have which are presently impacting upong your emotional wellbeing. As standard assessment this will look at stress, anxiety and depression, this will help us to formulate a treatment plan to suit your needs and we will discuss whether you require short-term or long-term therapy ( this will be reviewed throughout your therapy). We will conclude the assessment by agreeing to work together and answer any questions or concerns you may have about therapy. You can also request our more in-depth consultation this will include a Full Psychological Asssement which is a Personality Profile and DSM-IV-TR diagnostic Assessment and professional report, please allow 3-5 days from your consultation appointment to receive the report. You can request/ upgrade an asssessment at any time.

Fees

An initial consultation session costs just £75 this includes a brief assessment that looks at stress, anxiety and depression.

Full Psychological Asssement, includes Personality Profile and DSM-IV-TR diagnostic Assessment and professional report costs £350

Personality Profile, which includes DSM-IV-TR diagnostic assessment with brief report £225
