I have provided counselling and hypnotherapy services at Norfolk Clinic Private Practice for 30 years. My qualifications and experience include both undergraduate and post-graduate doctorate training in psychology and counselling psychology with University of Sunderland and University of Teesside. I am a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) (MBPsS) and a Divisional Member of Counselling Psychology (DCP). I am also a qualified Hypnotherapist and member of the British Society of Therapeutical Hypnotherapisits (BAThH). I provide a range of therapies including, brief focused therapy, long term counselling and psychotherapy.
I am an integrative therapist in which I use the person-centred; psychodynamic and CBT models in my work. My clinic work is diverse; experienced in assessing and working with children, adults, couples, parents, families for a wide range of conditions including, Depression, Anxiety, Lack of Confidence, Relationship Issues, Life Transitions, Work, Smoking Cessation etc. I also provide Online Psychological Assessment tests and in-depth Reports to help clients get the right treatments and support. I also have extensive experience in Employee Assisted Programmes (EAP); Road Traffic Accidents (RTA); Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) including working with members of the armed forces and returning war veterans.
